What it is
NAD+ nasal spray is a metered nasal formulation that may be considered as an add-on therapy when a clinician determines it is appropriate. Compounded NAD+ nasal spray is not FDA approved and is not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or manufacturing quality before dispensing.
Who should not use it
Do not use NAD+ nasal spray if you have had a serious allergic reaction to NAD+ or any ingredient in the medication, or if your clinician advises against it. Tell your clinician if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to become pregnant, have chronic nasal or sinus disease, recent nasal surgery or injury, cancer, liver or kidney disease, heart rhythm problems, blood pressure problems, or take prescription medications or supplements.

Common side effects
Common side effects may include nasal irritation, dryness, congestion, sneezing, headache, flushing, nausea, unpleasant taste, dizziness, or fatigue. Report side effects to your clinician, especially if they are persistent or concerning.
Serious side effects
Seek immediate medical care for trouble breathing, swelling of the face or throat, hives, chest pain, fainting, severe dizziness, severe headache, severe mood or behavior changes, severe nosebleed, or any symptom that feels urgent. Serious allergic reactions are possible with any medication.
Storage and handling
Follow the pharmacy label and included instructions. Keep the spray capped when not in use. Do not share it with anyone. Do not use medication that is expired, contaminated, leaking, damaged, discolored, or stored outside pharmacy instructions. Keep it away from children and pets.
Missed dose
If you miss a dose, follow the directions provided by your clinician or pharmacy. Do not double a dose or change your schedule without clinical guidance.
